The unspoiled beauty of the Britania Islands has amazed adventurous spirits and contemplative souls.
In this paragraph I will tell you about these islands

Fascinating and enchanting, just a few of the adjectives that describe the Britania Islands.

The islands are located in Barangay Britania , municipality of San Agustin , province of Surigao del Sur . These islands form a small archipelago of 24 islands and islets, distributed along Lianga Bay .

Six of them that are attractive to tourists.
They are Boslon , Panlangagan , Hiyor-hiyoran , Naked island , Hagonoy and Bonbonon .

Boslon Island

The main one, Boslon, is the most visited. It is a great place to sunbathe, play or swim.
It offers little interest to us diver because of its tourist bustle and its water games.

Panlangagan Cave Island  appreciated by speleologists and adventurers, it was the scene of fighting during the Second World War and served as a burial place (mass grave) for Japanese soldiers.

This island is the second most visited island after  Boslon  for its beach lined with palm trees which brings a little freshness. In its turquoise waters you will find a variety of seashells, in particular,  the little bear conch  or ”  sikad-sikad .” “

Hagonoy

To conclude our visit, our two favorite islands, Hagonoy Island  , our favorite, also called  Lover’s Island . White sand, palm trees and turquoise waters make it perfect for us to use as a diving base. It is ideal for swimming and snorkeling. We have selected the island of Hagonoy  for our ” Snorkeling trip  ” program.

Bonbonon

and  Bonbonon  the Magnificent is the outermost island of the Britania group of islands, facing the Pacific Ocean.
Ocean winds bring huge waves, which limits access and therefore protects it. This natural barrier that  Bonbonon  offers us on its western part a beautiful snorkeling training spot.
